Romi expands its line of blow molding machines

Romi and Digmotor enter into an agreement for assigning of rights and transference of technology

Under an agreement for assigning of rights and transference of technology, Indústrias Romi has acquired the complete line of blow molding machines for preform PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) from Digmotor Equipamentos Eletromecânicos Digitais Ltda. The companies have entered into an agreement on January 28, through which the technology developed by Digmotor for this type of blow molding machines was transferred to Romi.

Romi´s strategy is to expands its line of blow molding machines, by adding the segment of PET that was not yet covered by the company and to incorporate new technology already tested and recognized by the market, and to start production and to launch this line of machines soon.

Digmotor is a leader in Latin America on development and manufacturing of machines for winding of coil, power transformers and electric motors. Established in 1984, its headquarter is in the city of São Carlos-SP, Brazil and exports its products to countries worldwide.
