During the Exhibition ROMI shows new versions of injection molding machines and machine tools
ROMI shows its main products in the eighth version of Metal Mecânica Show, from 15 thru 18th of October, in the International Park of Exhibitions Francisco Feio Ribeiro, in Maringá city (PR).
ROMI booth will have four machines: CNC Lathe Centur 50, Turning Center ROMI E 280A, Machining Center ROMI D 800 and Injection Molding Machine Pratica 130. All these equipments will be fully running to demonstrate metal pieces machining and pieces of plastic injection.
ROMI Machine Tools Marketing & Sales Diretor, Hermes Lago, says that the company will show machines for different applications in several types of industries, like autoparts, agricultural machinery and industrial machinery and equipments.“ Centur 50, for example, is indicated for heavy machining process due to its robust conception. Machining Center ROMI D 800, launched in May, was already projected to work in production as in tool shops”, says Hermes Lago.
ROMI will show Pratica 130, which will be injecting a plastic CD-case, producing five pieces per minute (300 pieces/hour). Practica Series was launched by Romi in 2006, but in May 2008 machines had a design improvement: the Controlmaster 8 Plus, a new CNC control. It is a graphic, colorful panel, with the best visualization and touch screen, which means direct programming on the screen and remote access allowed, since it can be visualized from any microcomputer for attendance of the production.
Worldwide recognized by the technology of its machines, ROMI is constantly searching for solutions to meet several needs of industrial markets. With more than 60 patents of invention already granted and more than 30 in analysis in Brazil and abroad, ROMI invests annually 4% of its annual net earnings in research and development of technologies and products.
