Equipment intended to meet the requirements of companies of all sizes and tool shop works
Romi, leader in the Brazilian market of machine-tools and plastic injection molding machines shows its key products at the Brazilian Mechanics Fair (Feira Brasileira da Mecânica - Febramec). The event, one of the major trade fairs of the industry in the south region is scheduled to take place in the period comprised between August 12 and 16 in the Grape Feast Pavilion (Festa da Uva) in Caxias do Sul (RS).
In its 150-meter booth Romi shows five machines: Lathe CNC Romi Centur 35D with Multiplic kit, Vertical Machining Center Romi D 600, Vertical Machining Center Romi D 800, Lathe Turning Center Romi GL 240 and the Horizontal Machining Center Romi PH 400.
“We will show last generation equipment with an application in all kinds of industries from those operating with small, medium and high production scale to tool shops”, says Romi’s machine-tool marketing director, Hermes Lago.
Recognized worldwide for its innovation capacity and breakthrough technology of its machines, Romi invests continuously in seeking solutions for different industrial markets. Romi’s objective when renewing and expanding its mix of products is to increase its market share.
The strategy has allowed very good results. In 2006, 36% of the machines solded by Romi were developed and released between 2004 and 2006. In 2007, the share of equipment released in the two previous years jumped to 45% and must be even greater this year, with all the innovations released.
Furthermore, Romi offers financing for all its machines, either by means of partnerships with Banks or by its own credit lines.
Machines in highlight Vertical Machining Center Romi D 600, Romi D 800 The new vertical machining centers Romi D 600 and Romi D 800, Romi D 1400, Romi D 1600 and Romi D 2000 were released to expand the capacity of Romi’s line of vertical machining centers formed so far by Discovery 400 to Discovery 1250. This new equipment follows the tradition of Discovery line deemed to be the benchmarking for vertical machining centers with over 4 thousand machines installed in Brazil. The new Romi D Series machines support parts of up to 3 thousand kilos and are suitable to meet the needs of all kinds of industry in view of their great working flexibility for multiple applications.
